“Now he was master of his website, and he was not quite sure what to do next. But he would think of something.”

~ Liberally lifted from, and with apologies to, Arthur C. Clarke, 2001: A Space Odyssey

Hello there, and welcome!

I see you made it over to my website, the place where I share my stories both true and fanciful, wide-ranging photography, and loosely crafted (but seriously tasty, the Kids tell me) recipes. If I didn’t like ’em, you wouldn’t see ’em.

There’s something for most all your tastes here:  Look around and go click-happy.  Stories can be found in the TOP menu; photos and recipes are on the RIGHT.

Are you interested in longer reading? You can buy my fiction stories, shorter and longer, for a very reasonable price. Click here for my Amazon author page.

(Please note: A perceptive fan has noticed that my offerings are split into two pages, for my name and “Mr.” my name. This is because of my intattentiveness and Kindle Direct Publishing’s unforgiving nature. A search for my name on Amazon will yield the complete harvest.)

Big announcment!

(Besides the fact that I’ve reduced prices on my books because, in the time of COVID, we need kind gestures.)

First: New release!

What Remains – The Remains Series: Book Three

You’ve thrilled and chilled to the accounts of the End of the World, or very nearly, and the gathering of the community in Book One and the challenges they face, internal and external. You’ve continued through Book Two, continuing to build their community while facing threats from deadly adversaries.

Oops. I hear some of you saying that you haven’t.

Well, no worries. If you want to pick up Books One and Two, I can’t find it in my heart to object to that. But if you just want to pick up Book Three, it’s structured to stand on its own (with spoilers contained, of course, of Two and Three, because the story is continuing).

Your favorites are there, the heroes, the helpers, the mundanes, the discontents, and yeah, even a villain, eventually. And they face a new threat against the very existence of their community. New heroes emerge, as well as a very mysterious person who might even have dropped in from… well, no spoilers here.

All titles on Amazon, which has yet to link the Kindle and print copies of “Remains To Be Seen,” and we’re trying to fix that. But they are available in both formats, I swear.

And the others….

My “most important” book, by my outlook (and even more relevant in today’s (2020) time:

Hidden View cover

My personal favorite book:

Here for the paperback – I am having problems of Amazonian proportions at the moment.

A story of suspense involving an earnest private investigator and a reclusive “miracle man.” It has legal drama and corporate intrigue. It has some nice turns and a really neat twist. It’s good, I swear!  $8.95 for e-version, $11.95 for print.

And novellas and short stories:

Chance Encounter

A straightforward and engaging of suspense. It’s a novella. Great beach read.  $1.99 for download.

Out of Time

An archaeological (or is it?) mystery novella. Thoughtful and spooky and carries my best title ever. You’ll see why.  $1.99 for download. Print version on its way!

Up and Down

A collection of short stories, from suspenseful to macabre to unsettling. Even a shot at humor!  Same download price as the other shorter works, $1.99. And like the others, this will soon be available in print.

And all of those, plus four new stories, plus vastly entertaining (to me) author’s notes on each story is available in the compliation Trifection.

Don’t forget to leave me a comment!

If you stumble across anything interesting here, or perhaps perplexing, it would please me to no end if you left a comment regarding it. And we all like to be pleased without end. And hey, if I see it, I will respond.   Even if you just want to assure me that I’m making sense when I’m telling you something I think I know about.  It helps my self-esteem.
