“Now he was master of his website, and he was not quite sure what to do next. But he would think of something.”

~ Liberally lifted from, and with apologies to, Arthur C. Clarke, 2001: A Space Odyssey

Hello there, and welcome!

I see you made it over to my website, the place where I share my stories both true and fanciful, wide-ranging photography, and loosely crafted (but seriously tasty, the Kids tell me) recipes. If I didn’t like ’em, you wouldn’t see ’em.

There’s something for most all your tastes here:  Look around and go click-happy.  Stories can be found in the TOP menu; photos and recipes are on the RIGHT.

Want to hear an interview of me at public radio station KRFC? I mean, how did you miss it? Well, you can hear the first part of it here.

Are you interested in longer reading? You can buy my fiction stories, shorter and longer, for a very reasonable price. Click here for my Amazon author page.

Big announcment!

First: New release!

Remains To Be Seen – The Remains Series: Book Two

What’s that, you say? Book Two? Where’s Book One?

Follow along here, kids.

I wrote a post-apocalypse yarn that I titled Death Hangs In The Balance. Here’s our secret: I never liked the title.

So when I wrote this sequel, I got the idea of calling it Remains To Be Seen. Get it? Post-apocalypse with remains to be seen? And there’s suspense?

Okay, I thought it was clever. And then it hit me: Hey! Rebrand the first as All That Remains and call it The Remains Series.

So I did. So if you want to read a gripping tale of the post-apocalypse with nary a zombie in it, but you already have “Death Hangs…” you don’t need to get the first book. You already have it. But if you want to start with the first one and buy the whole set, I won’t stand in your way.

All titles on Amazon, which has yet to link the Kindle and print copies of “Remains To Be Seen,” and we’re trying to fix that. But they are available in both formats, I swear.

And the others….

My “most important” book, by my outlook:

Hidden View cover

My personal favorite book:

A story of suspense involving an earnest private investigator and a reclusive “miracle man.” It has legal drama and corporate intrigue. It has some nice turns and a really neat twist. It’s good, I swear!  $8.95 for e-version, $11.95 for print.

And novellas and short stories:

Chance Encounter

A straightforward and engaging of suspense. It’s a novella. Great beach read.  $1.99 for download.

Out of Time

An archaeological (or is it?) mystery novella. Thoughtful and spooky and carries my best title ever. You’ll see why.  $1.99 for download. Print version on its way!

Up and Down

A collection of short stories, from suspenseful to macabre to unsettling. Even a shot at humor!  Same download price as the other shorter works, $1.99. And like the others, this will soon be available in print.

By the way: Do you know how hard it is to write, “It’s good, I swear,” and, “Great beach read” when you’re talking about yourself? But if I didn’t mean it, I wouldn’t say it.

Don’t forget to leave me a comment!

If you stumble across anything interesting here, or perhaps perplexing, it would please me to no end if you left a comment regarding it. And we all like to be pleased without end. And hey, if I see it, I will respond.   Even if you just want to assure me that I’m making sense when I’m telling you something I think I know about.  It helps my self-esteem.
